Memberships are non-refundable.  
Cancellations results in a CCAA customer account credit, students may cancel 48 hours prior to the start of their class to receive credit. Classes are non-refundable.

    Course Description... Come and experience the outrageous side of art! Your young artist will learn about the Pop Art movement as they create larger than life pizza pillows, enormous drawings of their favorite cartoon character and more! Many art techniques will be explored in this camp including collage, drawing, sculpture, and painting.

    We are getting busy at the Clay Studio making heroes of our choice! We will spend the week learning how to slab build small figures dedicated to each child's favorite figure.


    Campers are encouraged to bring an apron or smock to camp. Remember clay is messy!


    NOTE: Ceramics classes are process-based.  This means that sometimes clay pieces are damaged as they are being completed.  If that does happen, refunds are not given, however please contact ceramic tech with any issues/concerns (fphillips@chestercountyarts.org)

    Storm, Thor, The Avengers, Black Panther and Wonder Woman... Come comic lovers! This class will go over a history of what marvel comics is and its creators Stan Lee and Martin Goodman. You will learn how to draw comics and be in encouraged to put your own twist on them. Get creative and create your own story line while learning some new techniques. The focus is on comic art and while Marvel will be covered so will other comic art houses.

    Learn how to create a graphic novel from start to finish. Campers delve into a range of comic book/graphic novel storytelling methods including autobiographical, straight fiction, manga, superhero and crime. From scriptwriting and storyboarding to penciling and inking in every style imaginable, we explore how artists’ creative choices affect the way the story is understood while working on the technical skills of drawing comic panels.
