In this class, you’ll learn how to develop your own original sci-fi world by researching science and technology to inform your designs and concepts. In addition, you’ll learn the process of developing an original story within your world, fleshing out character and scene designs with detailed descriptions, and finally translating them into a complete narrative using visual storytelling techniques. Coming out of this class, you’ll have the foundation of a new intellectual property developed, with concept art presentation sheets, written story descriptions, and a final storyboard.
